Yes, you have the choice in black and white, sephia tinted & color photos. Please mention this during your session consultation.

Customer satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not happy with the proofs, I gladly re-do the sitting without a sitting fee, before you order prints and products. The printed artwork I create is considered a custom product and as such cannot be resold. All printed photographs and products sales are final.

All photos are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced without written permission by Henrico Photo. Copying, reproducing and scanning of copyrighted photos is not permitted and falls under the copyright infringement laws. You can always order additional photos if you like, I will be happy to assist you with this.

This depends on the size of the camera room and the background of your choice. There are three camera rooms in our studio. In general, I can fit a family of five comfortable for a pose in a group portrait. A family group portrait of 6 is possible, but the choice of background and poses will be slightly limited.

For your convenience, the photos from your session are posted on a secure website to be viewed by you and other family members or friends if you like. If you like your session “proofs” to be private, the preview website can be password protected, so only you can view the proofs, and other family or friends you inform about the password.

I do provide previewing your photos in my studio. On special request, and for a small fee, I can provide you with a set of paper printed proofs in the size 4×5 or 4×6. The proofs will be marked and the studio’s property. They need to be returned upon delivery of the ordered photos.

Keep it simple and when possible wear solid colors. Avoid clothing with large patterns and bright colors that will draw the attention away from you. Long sleeves will help in directing focus to your face. For full body shots coordinate clothing all the way, including your shoes.

Scoop or V-neck tops works with short necks and full faces, high-necked clothes or turtlenecks work with long necks and slender faces. For family or group portraits try to keep clothes consistent. Try to have each family or group member dressed in the same style. Do not mix casual and formal clothing. Coordinate your clothing colors with the backdrop color of choice.

I do have a few props at the studio, but feel free to bring your own to show your personality. Especially for small children, let them bring their own favorite toy. And don’t forget, small pets are welcome, if accompanied by caretaker.

To make your studio session more relaxed I do have a CD, Radio and iPod docking player in the studio that will play your favorite music. Please bring your own CD or iPod with you or tune in your favorite radio channel. Internet radio is also available, just tell me your favorite station/music.

At Henrico Photo I do not employ a hair stylist or make-up artist at the studio. I currently have no hair stylist and make-up artist referrals. However, I welcome your own hair stylist or make-up artist in my studio.

Digital photos are processed at the studio. Most of the time, in 5 to 7 business days, depending on the size of your session, you will be able to select the photos. The selected photos may need additional editing. Obviously, this will take some additional time. Normal image processing (color correction etc.) is included in all my photos.

Retouching for individual photos is available for a small fee. The edited/retouched photos are usually ready for your online preview in 5 to 7 business days, on a secure website. After you have selected the photos of your choice they can then be purchased. If your session includes retouching of selected photos, or if you request additional photos to be retouched, they will be posted on the secure website after the retouching is completed, for your approval.

Some countries require a witness to sign the back of the passport photo. Please check with your local passport issuing agency for the requirements. Do not wear white clothes, since a white, or light gray background is required for passport applications. Glasses and earrings might have to be removed since it may reject the passport photo due to glare. The eyes must be entirely visible.

Your passport photo must have a neutral facial expression, mouth closed and looking straight at the camera. Some countries permit head covering only for religious, philosophical or medical reasons. Your passport photo should have a regular day-to-day appearance, avoid excessive make up and dress conservative. Ladies, no lip gloss please.

In the small event your passport photos are rejected, I will retake the passport photos for free, and for passport photos other than the countries we have listed, I re-take the passport photos for free only if you brought the specifications with you at time of your appointment. Without specifications I cannot guarantee if the passport photos will pass the requirements and therefore will not retake the passport photos for free.

The studio is equipped with a dedicated computer system to comply with all the required specifications. European passport software is used in my studio and constantly updated to the latest specifications. The passport photos are printed on a dedicated passport printer to comply with the resolution and paper quality insisted by the various authorities.
